first off, is it white bread? if so switch to granuary, then don't buy butter, instead buy low fat margarine, this way it doesnt taste as nice the more you put on so you won't be tempted to put loads on. Also have you thought about giving up bread? you could replace bread with ryvita's?!? i know its not quite the same, but i actually quite like them! 4 months ago
for me i buy little sweet treats that i don't love too much, so i get the fix but arent tempted to eat the whole lot! so i buy 'nice' biscuits as oppsoed to 'maryland cookies' so that i am happy to eat 1 or two as opposed to the whole pack!
i also find its much better if i have sweets in individual wrappers. so for instance instead of buying chi fingers in the box i buy them in a big pack where they come in handy little packs of three, good for lunchboxes for kids i think is why they do it! but for me it stops me from eating too many, i think its pyscological! 4 months ago
naan's are horrific for calories! boiled rice is always the best option, as pilla has added oil. would it be possible for you to take lunch in? then you can know the exact amount of calories etc. plain boiled rice is actually pretty low in calories so that they give you alot may not be as bad as it seems! hope this helps and keep up the good work! 4 months ago
Hi
Was just wondering if anyone knew some good exercises to get rid of hip fat? i'm generally happy with my body but my hips never budge! im going for a friends fancy dress bday in a few weeks and the theme is moulin rouge, i have a corset to wear, but it digs in a bit and then my hip fat splurges out, not a good look! if anyone has any tips would be much appreciated! 5 months ago
@jackiedpepper
maybe thats where i am going wrong! i never bother to look at fat content of anything, but im not sure that i eat that many fatty foods... altho i do eat weight watcher cakes, maybe they have more fat in it than i think. i might make an effort to cut out all sugary and fatty foods for a while and see how it goes! 5 months ago
i would like a little coloumn that says monday-friday and how many calories i ate on every day. Maybe we could also add an aim of cals for the day, and then when we go over it, it could come up +400, and when we are still under -200 so we know exaclty how many calories we have left to eat for that day! 5 months ago
Hey all.
Im really wanting to lose about 3 pounds, not much i know, but i'm short so it makes a difference!
I'v been exercsing about 2-4 times a week, and eating between 1,300- 1,600 calories a day (naughty days about 2,000) but the weight doesnt seem to budge! i can't think what more i can do, anyone any suggestions?? 5 months ago
yeh i read it, its why i joined as i thought what a convient way to keep track of what you eat! i think as long as you are aware that it can become a bit of an obsession and you stop yourself when you see yourself going to far then this site is perfectly fine. 6 months ago
