Hi i've just joined here, and it looks all so very exciting! I'm currently 110kg (242lbs), holy mama!!! and i need to start facing the obvious problem and get healthy again. My back is killing and my knees hurt after long days at work and i want the pain to go away, but for that i need to slim down.

I've been Tweeting here for about a week now. It's actually kind of addicting LOL I was just going back entering some things from the weekend when I didn't have computer access.
I'm 44 yrs. old, and it's my goal to lose about 45-50 lbs. (I think), we'll see exactly what that number looks like when I get a bit closer than I am now.
I try to work out at least 3 times a week and if I can fit in more I do.
Loving the site so far, and clicking and seeing other people's diaries is fun too.
Looking forward to it :)

I joined last week and since I started my diet (2 weeks) Ive lost 8lbs (3.6 kilos) and still need to weigh myself on monday. i used to weigh myself everyday but thought it would be better to do it weekly. Ive been uploading everything that I eat or drink and I find it really helps. It's as if you have to admit to a whole load of people that you basiclly cheated if you eat something naughty. I'm addicted!! I also found a video on youtube by erinxx88 extremely motivating cos she is SO like me. You can see before and after pictures and its fantastic! just to give all you newbies some motivation.... I have twye everything that I have eaten for the last 264 days. I have lost 15 kilos and I am thinner than I was pre-baby. I eat what I like but account for it all and stick to a daily limit of 1500-1700 calories.
It is so easy that I think I will probably do it forever.

A while back we solicited your feedback for some upcoming TWYE enhancements. One of the most popular requests was for a chat-based support system where TWYE users could chat with one another about diet-related topics and support. We've found a novel solution and I wanted to find out if you'd use it before we move forward with implementation.
It's a voice-based system rather then instant message where you type. You enter your phone number the first time you use the system and are anonymously connected to another TWYE user over the phone who wants to talk at the same time. If you want to share contact info over the phone you can, otherwise the other user you talk to will never have access to your phone number or other personally identifiable info.
I've tried the system, and think it would be a very effective support tool - more effective then an instant message-based system. Thoughts? 3 months ago
i just joined this for some extra motivation as I would be a lot thinner if it weren't for the sneaky snacking!
about me: I exercise a lot as I'm a runner but I also eat a lot :) i am 5'8" and somewhere between 135-140 pounds at the moment, and would like to be back down at around 125 as i look better and run better at that weight. It's hard to diet properly and run well because I find myself lacking energy, but hopefully being more conscious of what I eat will be enough to lose that little bit of weight.
